The
Museum's operating hours will be expanded to include Tuesdays and opening earlier in the day to
accommodate additional foot traffic.
Funding will used to support the implementation of the City and School District's Youth Master Plan
through programs specifically geared for preschool, school age and adolescents/young adults. In the
preschool area, the Museum will continue to offer a new FREE preschool reading program once a month
to help promote children's literacy through books and hands-on activities.
For school age students, the Museum will offer hands-on inductive questioning education programs for
school children. Two travelling trunks will be used in the classroom. One trunk is for the 3`"grade
curriculum that provides an overview of the community history.
