EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />2-5.50 Satellite Earth Station Development Standards. <br /> (a) Residential Districts. <br /> No exterior satellite earth station having a dimension <br /> greater than 24" shall be allowed in any Residential <br /> District unless it complies with the following <br /> requirements. For the purposes of this section, a <br /> ,,satellite earth station" shall be defined as a <br /> parabolic dish antenna designed for the transmission <br /> and/or receiving of signals from a satellite and used <br /> for enhanced radio, television reception and/or <br /> telecommunications uses. <br /> <br /> 1) No satellite earth station shall be located on, <br /> attached to, or in any manner supported above any <br /> roof of any structure. <br /> <br /> 2) No satellite earth station shall be located in any <br /> street, alley way, front yard or in the area <br /> between the front yard and the front of the <br /> structure. <br /> <br /> 3) No satellite earth station shall be located in any <br /> side yard on the street side of a corner lot unless <br /> the antenna is totally screened from view from such <br /> street. <br /> <br /> 4) The maximum height to the highest point of the <br /> installed satellite earth station shall be 10 ft. <br /> <br /> 5) Any satellite earth station which has a maximum <br /> height taller than the top of any fence separating <br /> the property on which the earth station is proposed <br /> and adjacent properties shall maintain a minimum <br /> setback of five (5) feet from such property line, <br /> if such satellite earth station is screened from <br /> such adjacent properties. The focussing side of a <br /> satellite earth station, if required to be <br /> unscreened, shall maintain a minimum setback of <br /> fifteen (15) feet from any property line it faces. <br /> <br /> 6) Screening, in a form acceptable to the Director, <br /> shall be installed to screen along the sides and <br /> rear of the satellite earth station that are <br /> visible to the adjacent properties or public <br /> roadways. Screening shall be designed to achieve a <br /> height equal to the maximum height of the satellite <br /> earth station. <br /> <br /> 7) Satellite earth stations shall be earth tone colors <br /> satisfactory to the Director, unless such satellite <br /> earth station is completely screened from adjoining <br /> properties and city rights-of-way. <br /> <br /> <br />
