Resolution No. 03-062 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council finds that the formation of the GHAD is in the interest of the public <br /> health, safety and welfare; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby orders the formation of the Lemoine Ranch Estates, Tract <br />7176, Geologic Hazard Abatement District, as described in Resolution No. 03-027. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby appoints itself to act as the Board of Directors for the <br />LeMoine Ranch Estates GHAD for the maximum term provided by Division 17 <br />(Section 26500 et seq.) of the Public Resources Code. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON MAY 20, 2003 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
