Alameda CTC Paratransit Prograrn Application Page 2 of 12 <br /> Application Period July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 <br /> 2A. Please provide a short narrative description for each service component listed in <br /> question 2 and describe any planned changes. (max. 1,300 characters) <br /> he City of Pleasanton Paratransit Service will continue to provide door -to -door services to Pleasanton & <br /> Sunol residents 60+ years and ADA eligible Pleasanton /Sunol residents 18+ years. The service is available <br /> Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is a two week reservation <br /> indow, with most clients reserving within the same week. Same day service is not available due to limited <br /> resources. The PPS service area covers all of Pleasanton and Sunol. Limited service for medical <br /> ppointments is provided to San Ramon, Dublin and Livermore. The primary trip purposes are for medical <br /> . ppointments and basic living needs. Fares: in -town service for residents $3.00 and non - residents $3.50 and <br /> • ut -of -town service for residents $3.50 and non - residents $4.00. For FY 11 -12, 350 unduplicated clients will <br /> be served and 16,000 rides will be provided. As Pleasanton's core paratransit service for Pleasanton, the goal <br /> is to reduce isolation, increase socialization, and encourage independent living, thereby minimizing the <br /> need for institutionalization and enhancing the quality of life for residents no longer able to drive. The City <br /> •f Pleasanton is committed to this service and will contribute $360,463 to the program or a subsidy of 67 %. <br /> 3. Is your program currently meeting Minimum Service Levels?
