Ordinance No. 2019 <br /> Page 11 <br /> 11.64.110 Revocation of permit. <br /> Any permit for a parade issued pursuant to this chapter may be revoked by the <br /> chief when by reason of disaster, public calamity, riot or other emergency, the <br /> chief determines that the safety of the public requires such revocation. Whenever <br /> possible, notice of such action shall be delivered in writing to the permittee by <br /> personal service or by certified mail. The chief may revoke the permit for failure <br /> to abide by the conditions of the issued permit. <br /> 11.64.120 Vending — Special vending permit. <br /> No roving or walking food vending shall be permitted in the public right -of -way <br /> along the parade route unless approved in the parade permit or subject to a <br /> special vending permit approved by the chief. The chief shall issue a special <br /> vending permit if he or she finds: <br /> A. The size of the parade and the projected audience is such that moving <br /> vendors would not endanger the audience, parade participants or themselves; <br /> B. The applicant has applied at least three days prior to the event and <br /> paid the fee designated in the resolution establishing fees and charges for <br /> various municipal services. <br /> C. The granting of the permit to the applicant will not endanger the public <br /> health of residents and visitors of the city; <br /> D. The proposed vending is consistent with the approved parade permit. <br /> G. Amend Chapter 11 Vehicles and Traffic as follows: <br /> Delete Traffic Appendix <br /> H. Amend Chapter 14.04 Regulation of Water System and Water Service Fees as follows: <br /> (1) amend Section 14.04.120 Discontinuance of service as follows: <br /> 14.04.120 Discontinuance of service. <br /> Any consumer may have his or her water service discontinued by giving notice to the <br /> department requesting discontinuance not less than two days prior to the requested <br /> date of discontinuance. Each such consumer shall pay all water charges up to and <br /> including the date of discontinuance stated in such notice. In any case where such <br /> notice is not given, the consumer shall be required to pay for water service until two <br /> days after the department has knowledge that the consumer has vacated the <br /> premises or otherwise discontinued water service. The city shall make a <br /> reconnection charge for restoring water service to any consumer whose water <br /> service has been discontinued at his or her request. Such charge shall be as set <br /> forth in the Master Fee Schedule. <br /> (2) amend Section 14.04.130 Enforcement measures as follows: <br /> 14.04.130 Enforcement measures. <br /> A. A consumer's water service may be discontinued for nonpayment of a bill for <br /> water service furnished if the bill is not paid within thirty (30) days after it has become <br /> delinquent.
