<br /> Grant #: 10 -68, Center for Recycling Research, Expanded Funding for City of Alameda Organics Diversion
<br /> Project, Berkeley, West County, $1,000.00 - Funding from this grant will be used to compensate Jessica Robinson,
<br /> Miss Alameda, for additional time required to bring the database for the City of Alameda Organics Diversion Project up
<br /> to date.
<br /> Grant #: 10 -69, Dublin High School, Recycling n Dublin High School, Dublin, East County, $2,994.90 - Funding
<br /> from this grant will be used to purchase the necessary recycling containers for a formal campus wide recycling program
<br /> for mixed paper, bottles and cans, and cardboard.
<br /> Grant #: 10 -70, Sowing Seeds, OUSD Custodian Waste Reduction, Oakland, West County, $3,000.00 - Funding
<br /> from this grant will be used towards the goal of creating an OUSE) Sustainability Resolution, Council and Coordinator.
<br /> Funds will be used to work with custodians to tour Davis Street Transfer Station, supply custodians with information on
<br /> waste reduction and start the development of an OUSD waste reduction manual.
<br /> Grant #: 10 -71, Tri- Valley Learning Corporation, Internal Recycling Start -Up, Livermore, East County, $3,000.00
<br /> - Funds from this grant will be used to purchase recycle containers to implement a classroom paper recycling program at
<br /> Livermore Valley Charter School and Livermore Valley Charter Preparatory High School.
<br /> Grant #: 10 -72, Nea Community Learning Center — PTA, Nea CLC Recycling System, Alameda, West County,
<br /> $3,000.00 - Funds from this grant will be used to purchase proper recycling tools (bins and signage) for the classrooms,
<br /> administration office, and faculty room/copy machine spaces.

<br /> $420.40 - Funds from this grant will be used to purchase proper recycling tools (bins and signage) for the classrooms,
<br /> administration office, and faculty room/copy machine spaces.
<br /> The total 2010 Expenditure Plan budget of $100,000 for Mini - grants was approved by the Board along with the
<br /> option to carry over all unexpended funds from previous grant years and expend if necessary. Funds from
<br /> previous years were expended, and a total of $119,010.87 in Mini - grants were awarded.

<br /> The Education Advisory Board awarded 20 Project grants to the following projects:
<br /> Grant #: 10 -41, Altamont Creek Elementary School, Recycling at Altamont Creek Elementary, Livermore, East
<br /> County, $9,489.00 - Funding from this grant will provide additional recycling units for those parts of campus that do not
<br /> currently have waste diversion collection systems.
<br /> Grant #: 10 -42, Gurdwara Sahib, Waste not Organics, Fremont, West County, $12,207.42 - Funds from this grant
<br /> will be used to set up a vermicomposting facility on site so that all organic waste can be composted and valuable compost
<br /> can be generated.
<br /> Grant #: 10 -43, City of Dublin, Public Spaces Recycling, Dublin, East County, $21,555.00 - The City of Dublin will
<br /> use these grant funds for a scalable project to provide recycling container retrofits for many of the public -space containers
<br /> within the City. Specifically the project will retrofit 35 of those high traffic locations within the City.
<br /> Grant #: 10 -44, City of Dublin, Recycling It's in the Bag, Dublin, East County, $21,370.00 - Funds from this grant
<br /> will be used to evaluate the recycling activities and needs of every multi - family complex in the City of Dublin and
<br /> provide technical assistance and resources necessary to start or expand a successful on site Mixed (single stream)
<br /> Recycling program for residents and staff.
