• Provide firewall configuration recommendations to support H.323 calls from the Internet. <br />ExtraTeam will provide a quote for firewall and network edge configuration services after a <br />requirements gathering phase is completed. <br />o Static NAT, as necessary. <br />o Application gateway settings to support H.323, including H.239, as determined in the <br />design phase. <br />o Access -list rules, as determined in the design phase. <br />• Suggest external DNS settings for H.323 endpoints. Customer is responsible for updating <br />external DNS (not required for video conferencing to work). <br />• Configure LifeSize Transit to work with firewall(s) and enable inbound /outbound calling with <br />external parties. <br />• Perform inbound and outbound video conferencing tests, including tests to ExtraTeam and <br />other third -party H.323 endpoints. <br />o Note: In order for video conferencing to work across the Internet, endpoints must <br />support a signaling protocol such as H.323 or SIP. This proposal assumes H.323 will be <br />used. ExtraTearn cannot guarantee that remote endpoints will run a compatible <br />signaling protocol. Troubleshooting interoperability between external third -party <br />endpoints and the customer's endpoints is not included in the proposal pricing. <br />ExtraTeam will provide such services on a time - and - materials basis. <br />o Note: Quality of Service cannot be guaranteed over the Internet. At the customer's <br />request, ExtraTeam will work with the customer's service provider(s), on a time -and- <br />materials basis, to troubleshoot excessive packet loss, delay, and /or jitter. <br />Documentation <br />• ExtraTeam will provide as -built documentation for device configurations. <br />Training <br />• ExtraTeam will provide 2 hours of administrator training. This training will be delivered onsite, or <br />via WebEx. <br />• ExtraTeam will provide up to 4 hours (single session) of for 'train the trainer' knowledge transfer <br />on system operation for end users. The train - the - trainer model will allow LPFD to be self - <br />sufficient in training new recruits as they join the department. <br />Assumptions <br />This RFP response and pricing assumes the following: <br />• Livermore - Pleasanton Ere Department will provide appropriate monitors for each LifeSize <br />codec. The LifeSize Express supports 2 x HD Digital Video Out (1080p60/720p60). Monitors must <br />support HDMI or DVI -I input and be capable of these resolutions in order to display them. The <br />LifeSize Express 220 ships HDMI -ready (no DVI -I port).
