The CDCE support desk will work directly <br />with PPD to diagnose and repair all products, including those from Havis, Lind, and <br />Panasonic. <br />Installation Warranty -- CDCE warrants installation work for 1 year from the date that <br />the service was performed. This covers all hardware installed by CDCE. PPD can <br />contact CDCE's support desk at (800) 373 -5353 to review any installation or technical <br />concerns, and if the matter cannot be resolved over the phone, CDCE will schedule a <br />technician to further investigate the problem. CDCE will, at its sole expense, return on- <br />site to PPD to restore functionality of the MDC system. <br />The above warranties do not apply to defects resulting from: <br />• Improper or inadequate maintenance by PPD which is not performed by CDCE as <br />part of the MDC Support; <br />• PPD or third party software, including supplies that are not within the scope of <br />coverage of MDC Support; <br />• Unauthorized modification; <br />• Improper use or operation outside of the Specifications for the Product; <br />• Abuse, negligence, accident, loss or damage in transit; <br />• Improper site preparation; or <br />• Unauthorized taintenance or repair. <br />Repairs or service work performed outside of warranty will be billed as Time and <br />Materials labor. <br />Proposed Maintenance .Agreement — CDCE offers many ongoing maintenance plans, <br />including weekly on -site support, next day on -site response, and time and materials <br />service. Depending on the long -term needs of the department, CDCE can present several <br />cost - effective maintenance plans. <br />Hardware Warranties — The following chart summarizes the manufacturer warranty for <br />the products in our proposal. <br />The products listed above are protected against manufacturer limited warranties which <br />protect against defects in material and workmanship. If PPD would like to consider <br />accidental damage protection, Protection Plus warranty service can be added to the <br />project.
