Staff has highlighted the status <br /> of items on Attachment A. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> As noted on Attachment A, there are four key matters remaining in the Settlement <br /> Agreement which are summarized as follows: <br /> Item - Second reading of ordinance establishing non -core development standards and <br /> design guidelines for three sites in Hacienda Business Park. <br /> Date due - March 1, 2011 <br /> Status — This item is part of the March 1, 2011 City Council agenda and approval is <br /> anticipated. <br /> Item — Issuance of second payment for Urban Habitat attorney fees totaling $995,000. <br /> Due date — July 31, 2011 <br /> Status — Funds for this payment have been earmarked and will be made on time. <br /> Item - Transmit draft City Housing Element Update to the State Department of Housing <br /> and Community Development (HCD) <br /> Due date — August 16, 2011 <br /> Status — The Housing Element Task Force has been meeting according to schedule and <br /> all required items, including releasing a draft housing element site inventory, have been <br /> met. The next Task Force meeting is scheduled for March 2 and will concern a review of <br /> Housing Element goals, program and policies. On March 8, 12 and 14, staff and the Task <br /> Force will be conducting neighborhood meetings intended to inform the public of the <br /> process and to receive feedback concerning potential site rezoning. The Housing <br /> Element Update schedule anticipates providing the City Council with a status <br /> update /check -in on May 3, 2011. At this time, staff is confident that the Settlement's <br /> timeline will be met. <br /> Additional information concerning Housing Element Task Force meetings is available at: <br /> http: / /www. ci. pleasanton. ca. us/ business / planning/ HousingElement /housingelementupdat <br /> e. html. <br /> Item - Adoption of a Climate Action Plan <br /> Due date — February 17, 2012 <br /> Status — To date this process is moving forward in accordance to the project schedule. <br /> Notable accomplishments to date include development of a CAP website, a review and <br /> validation of GHG emissions inventory performed by ICLEI in 2005, development of a <br /> baseline, project and target emissions for State measures for which Pleasanton can take <br /> credit, conducted two community workshops, and met with community leaders to solicit <br /> input regarding draft CAP measures.
