We will
strive to provide our testing and inspection services in a cost- effective and timely manner, in
accordance with the approved project plans, specifications and regulatory requirements. We will
provide field service from our local San Ramon office.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE
The project is located at 6900 West Las Positas Boulevard near 1 -680 and consists of
construction of a new wet well, valve vault, meter vault and MMC Building. The structures are
built of reinforced concrete with some structural masonry, requiring special inspection services
in accordance with Section 1704 of the California Building Code. Site piping, backfill of the wet
well and placement of fill at the sub - excavated MMC building pad will require density testing of
native subgrade materials and imported Class 2 aggregate base fill material. Upon completion
and operation of the new structures, the existing facility will be demolished. The project is
expected to start in November 2010 and has an approximate 13 -month duration.
It is our understanding that DCM GeoEngineers will be retained as the geotechnical engineer of
record (FOR), so ENGEO will perform laboratory and field "testing only" services in
conjunction with DCM observations to satisfy their geotechnical engineering requirements.
2010 Crow Canyon Place.
