MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> January 4, 2011 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br /> McGovern led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> The City Attorney reported that the Council met in Closed Session regarding existing litigation <br /> regarding the Lin vs. City of Pleasanton lawsuit and a new liability claim filed by the Lin's <br /> relating to the litigation, with no reportable action taken on either item. The third item; <br /> Pleasanton City Employees Association, will be taken up at the end of the regular meeting. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS — None <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved special meeting and regular meeting minutes of November 16, 2010 <br /> 2. Approved Amendment No. 2 to the Employment Contract of City Manager Nelson Fialho <br /> City Manager <br /> 3. Adopted Resolution No. 11-417 to demonstrate support of the Regional Funding Priorities <br /> at the National Level of the Tri- Valley Region 2012 Federal Legislative Priorities <br /> Community Development <br /> 4. Accept or appeal actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 5. Waive second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2015 to amend Chapter 20 and <br /> relevant sections of the Pleasanton Municipal Code concerning the adoption of the 2010 <br /> Edition of the California Code of Regulations Title 24, including by reference the 2009 <br /> International Building, Fire, Property, Maintenance, Historical and Existing Building Codes; <br /> the 2009 Uniform Plumbing and Mechanical Codes and the 2008 National Electrical Code <br /> 6. Waive second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2016 to amend the zoning for three <br /> sites in Hacienda Business Park to require residential development meet certain core <br /> standards related to density, affordability, and unit mix, consistent with the settlement <br /> agreement approved by the city council on August 17, 2010 in the case of Urban Habitat v. <br />
