MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> January 18, 2011 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Cook - Kallio called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Sullivan led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook - Kallio <br /> Absent: Councilmember McGovern, Mayor Hosterman <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Vice -Mayor Cook - Kallio stated that in addition to the Mayor and Councilmember McGovern, the <br /> Finance Director was unable to attend tonight's meeting. Given the importance of the agenda <br /> items, it is preferable to have a full Council and management team in attendance. She proposed <br /> continuing the Items to February 15, 2011, with a preceding public workshop on pension reform <br /> and post- retirement benefits in place of the February 1, 2011 meeting. <br /> Mr. Fialho stated Item 10, Public Hearing: PAP -149 is continued to February 15, 2011. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes of December 7, 2010 <br /> City Manager <br /> 2. Accepted Commissioner Absences Report for the period of July 1 through December 31, <br /> 2010 <br /> 3. Approved an amendment to the HELP Promissory Note and approved a $450,000 <br /> allocation from the lower Income Housing Fund to assist with repayment of the HELP loan <br /> Community Development <br /> 4. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 5. Public Hearing: PRZ -56, Ed Churka, Introduced and waived full reading of Ordinance <br /> No. 2017 to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to allow basement self- storage for the <br /> public in commercial buildings as permitted uses within the Downtown Central Commercial <br /> Zoning District <br /> MOTION: It was M /S2 by Sullivan/Thorne to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted. <br /> Motion passed by the following vote: <br />
