Actions of the Planning Commission, February 9, 2010 <br /> Commissioners Present: Phil Blank, Kathy Narum, Greg O'Connor, Jennifer Pearce, <br /> and Jerry Pentin. <br /> Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Arne Olson. <br /> Discussion of Parking Issues at 24 -Hour Fitness <br /> The Commission listened to a presentation /update by Mr. Craig Hardy of 24 -Hour <br /> Fitness on the measures the business establishment is taking to address the parking <br /> issue at 24 -Hour Fitness. <br /> PUD -82, David DiDonato, Donato Builders, Inc. <br /> Work Session to review and receive comments on a proposal to construct 13 detached <br /> single - family homes on an approximately 1.17 -acre site located at 4171 and <br /> 4189 Stanley Boulevard. Zoning for the property is R -1 -6,500 (One - Family Residential) <br /> District. <br /> The Commission conducted the work session and provided input and direction to staff <br /> and the applicant. <br /> PV -203, Rahul and Himani Limaye <br /> Application for a Variance from the Pleasanton Municipal Code to allow a garage to be <br /> set back 11 feet, 6 inches from the street -side sideyard property line where a 20 -foot <br /> setback is required. The property is located at 4267 Churchhill Drive and is zoned <br /> R -1 -6,500 (One - Family Residential) District. <br /> Action recommended: Denial. <br /> Action taken: After receiving testimony, the Commission continued the item to a future <br /> meeting to give the applicant time to look at alternative designs. <br /> Vote: 5 -0. <br /> PV -204, Sia Hashimi <br /> Application for a Variance from the Pleasanton Municipal Code to allow the width of a <br /> corner lot located at 364 Linden Way in unincorporated Alameda County to be reduced <br /> from the required 85 feet to 80 feet for a proposed three -lot subdivision, to be processed <br /> separately by Alameda County. <br /> This item was continued to a future meeting. <br /> Page 6 of 7 <br />
