Outdoor seating areas are allowed to encroach up to 12 ft. <br /> Design Guidelines <br /> B6.a. Paseo connections should be made wherever auto connections are <br /> infeasible due to project or site constraints. <br /> B6.b. Paseos should supplement the role of streets and drives in the circulation <br /> network. <br /> B6.c. Paseos should provide easy and direct access to building entries, common <br /> open space amenities and visitor parking areas. <br /> B6.d. Paseos should visually extend the street into an area for safe pedestrian <br /> use, with consistent street furnishings. <br /> B6.e. Paseos should be embellished with special paving and pedestrian - scaled <br /> lighting. <br /> B6.f. Buildings lining paseos should provide windows along the building face to <br /> encourage comfortable and safe pedestrian use. <br /> B6.g. Buildings lining paseos should be designed so that sunlight can reach the <br /> paseos during midday. <br /> B6.h.
