PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-61 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF PHILIP CIESIELSKI FOR <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PADR-643 <br />WHEREAS, Philip Ciesielski has applied for design review approval to allow the construction of <br />a flagpole in the rear yard of an existing residence located at 4160 Stanley <br />Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-20,000 District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 9, 2002, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed flagpole would be <br />appropriate if the height was limited to the height of the residence on this site <br />(approximately 25 feet) and the illumination was removed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PADR-643, the application of Philip Ciesielski for design review <br />approval to allow the construction of a flagpole in the rear yard of an existing <br />residence located at 4160 Stanley Boulevard, subject to the conditions shown in <br />Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
