PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-2002-57 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING VESTING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP 6951 <br />THE APPLICATION OF EUGENE C. AND CAROL STROM, WILLIAM <br />KOLB, AND DONNA MILLER <br />WHEREAS, Eugene C. and Carol Strom, William Kolb, and Donna Miller have applied <br />for a vesting tentative subdivision map and modifications to an approved <br />PUD development plan to subdivide 60.62 acres into 12 new single-family <br />lots, two lots developed with existing single-family homes, public street <br />and infrastructure improvements, and remainder parcels for a public pazk, <br />common open space, and a future senior care facility located at 11321 and <br />11393 Dublin Canyon Road and 6388 Foothill Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR, C, <br />PH&S, and WO (Low Density Residential, Commercial, Public Health <br />and Safety, and Wildlands Overlay) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of August 28, 2002, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, environmental review for the proposed vesting tentative subdivision map <br />is covered by the Initial Study and Negative Declazation for PUD-99-03, <br />approved by the City Council on December 8, 1999; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />The proposed vesting tentative subdivision map is consistent with <br />the Pleasanton General Plan. <br />The PUD development plan that the proposed vesting tentative <br />subdivision map is based on was found by the City Council to be <br />consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. The subdivision map and its <br />improvements aze consistent with the approved development plan and, <br />additionally, satisfactorily implements the applicable conditions and <br />requirements imposed by the City Council with its approval. <br />The subject property/project site is physically suitable for this type <br />of development and density. <br />
