Adopt the findings set forth in attached Exhibit 2 to support the adoption <br /> of the California Building Code in Title 20 of the Municipal Code and the amendments to those <br /> codes based upon Pleasanton's climatic, geologic and topographical conditions. <br /> Section 5. Severability. If any provision or clause of this Chapter or the application <br /> thereof to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional or otherwise invalid by any <br /> court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect other Chapter provisions or <br /> clauses or applications thereof which can be implemented without the invalid provision, clause <br /> or application, and to this end the provisions and clauses of this Chapter are declared to be <br /> severable. <br /> Section 6. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in <br /> the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> Section 7. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> Section 8.
