approval prior to occupancy of the first unit. <br />55. All green building measures shall be shown on the building permit plan set submitted to the <br />Planning Director for review and approval before issuance of the first building permit. <br />56. The project developer shall submit a waste management plan to the Building Department prior <br />to issuance of a building permit. The plan shall include the estimated composition and <br />quantities of waste to be generated and how the project developer intends to recycle at least <br />50% (fifty percent) of the total job site construction and demolition waste measured by weight <br />or volume. Proof of compliance shall be provided to the Chief Building Official prior to the <br />issuance of a final building permit. During construction, the project developer shall mark all <br />trash disposal bins "trash materials only" and all recycling bins "recyclable materials only". <br />Prior to submittal of the waste management plan, the project developer shall contact <br />Pleasanton Garbage Service to create a comprehensive plan for removal of all waste and <br />recycling from the site. <br />Building and Site Design Requirements <br />57. The project developer shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible <br />from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. <br />58. Approved building materials and colors shall be stated on the plans submitted for issuance of <br />building permits. <br />59. The homes covered by this approval shall be constructed to encourage telecommuting by <br />providing as an option telecommunications infrastructure consistent with state-of--the-art <br />methods, e.g., cabling for DSL service, wiring for total room access, etc. The project <br />developer shall submit with the first building permit application those measures included in the <br />home construction for review and approval by the Planning Director before issuance of the <br />first building permit. <br />60. Only natural gas burning fireplaces or USEPA-approved wood/pellet burning stoves shall be <br />permitted in the proposed houses. <br />Existing Trees <br />61. No trees shall be removed other than those specifically designated for removal in the "Update <br />of Tree Report -Busch Property" prepared by Hortscience and dated May 27, 2002. All <br />recommendations of the "Tree Report- Busch Property," prepared by Hortscience and dated <br />April 1996 shall be followed. The developer shall arrange for the horticultural consultant to <br />conduct a field inspection prior to issuance of a grading permit to ensure that all <br />recommendations have been properly implemented.
