a. Electrical conduit and "pull-strings" shall be installed from the roof/attic areas to the buildings' main electrical room. b. Roof trusses shall be engineered to handle an additional load of five pounds (5- lbs.)per sq. ft. beyond that of the anticipated for roofing. c. An area shall be provided in the electrical room near the electrical panel for the "inverter" required to convert the direct current output from the photovoltaic pan- els to alternating current. d. A bi-directional electrical meter shall be installed with the installation of the photovoltaic panels in the mechanical equipment room. e. The area shown on the roof plan located outside of the mechanical equipment screens shall be designated for the installation of photovoltaic panels. All other roof equipment, except for the roof drains and overflow scuppers, including satel- lite dishes, personal wireless communication devices, vents, stacks, etc., may only be located within the area defined by the equipment screens. This statement shall be shown on the building permit plan set and shall be communicated by the build- ing owner to all future contractors/sub-contractors doing work on the roof. These measures shall be shown on the building permit plan set submitted to the Planning Director for review and approval before issuance of the first building permit. Building and Site Design Requirements: 20. The project developer shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visi- ble from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. 21. The project developer shall effectively screen from view all ducts, meters, air condition- ing equipment, and any other mechanical equipment, whether on the structure, on the ground, or on the roof, with materials architecturally compatible with the main structure. Screening details shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits, the adequacy of which shall be determined by the Planning Director. All required screen- ing shall be provided prior to occupancy. 22. All mechanical equipment shall be located on the roof of the structure covered by this approval, in the area designated on the roof plan, and shall not project above the horizon- tal plane established by the surrounding equipment screens. This requirement can be modified by the Planning Director if it can be demonstrated with lines-of--sight analyses taken from across Koll Center Parkway and Valley Avenue that the mechanical equip- ment will not be visible.
