ROLL CALL <br />Staff Members Present: Brian Dolan, Director of Community Development; Julie <br />Harryman, Assistant City Attorney; Janice Stern, Planning <br />Manager; Jenny Soo, Associate Planner; Marion Pavan, <br />Associate Planner; and Maria L. Hoey, Recording Secretary <br />Commissioners Present: Chair Arne Olson, Commissioners Kathy Narum, Greg <br />O’Connor, Jennifer Pearce, and Jerry Pentin <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Phil Blank <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />a. February 24, 2010 <br />Commissioner Pearce the following amendments be made: <br /> Change the phrase “Chair Pearce” in the ninth paragraph on page 5 to <br />“Commissioner Pearce.” <br /> Modify the second and third sentences of the third paragraph on page 14 as <br />follows: “She noted that the Commission can talk all it wants about the definition <br />of ‘custom,’ but this limits hershe is limited in terms of relying on other people’s <br />interpretation of background documents.
