Resolution No. PC-2002-27 <br />Page 2 <br />community/family/religious activities on the site would benefit Pleasanton <br />residents. The project would be consistent with the General Plan policy <br />that encourages the development of "facilities and activities which <br />accommodate community and family use". <br />2. The proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions <br />under which it would be operated or maintained will not be <br />detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfaze, or materially <br />injurious to the properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />The use as proposed and conditioned would not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to properties or <br />improvements in the vicinity. The applicant would be required to receive all <br />Building Department permits. The building would be fire sprinklered. A <br />native landscaping buffer strip would be installed on the property neaz the <br />existing ripazian area south of the property. The scale of the building would <br />be similar to others in Stanley Business Pazk. As conditioned, an adequate <br />number of parking spaces would be provided on site. All activities on the <br />site would be required to adhere to the City's noise regulations. <br />3. The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable <br />provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />The proposed use would meet the applicable provisions of the Zoning <br />Ordinance. As conditioned, the use would meet the parking and the drive aisle <br />requirements as well as the site development requirements, and the applicant <br />would be required to obtain all necessary City permits. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the project meets all applicable <br />requirements of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and the Stanley Business <br />Park PUD development plan, and would complement and enhance the <br />appearance of the Stanley Business Pazk. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PDR-182/PCUP-46, the application of the Livermore Valley <br />Jewish Community Center for design review approval and conditional use <br />permit approval to construct an approximately 9,735-squaze-foot single-story <br />building consisting of a 2,250-square-foot sanctuary, a 1,440-squaze-foot <br />multipurpose room, a 530-squaze-foot kitchen, a 340-square-foot <br />library/conference room, 2,250-squaze feet of classrooms, 1,100-squaze feet <br />of office, and miscellaneous azeas, such as hallways, display areas, storage <br />areas, and bathrooms (Phase I) located at 2500 Stanley Boulevazd near the <br />intersection of Stanley Boulevazd and Bernal Avenue, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case <br />by reference. <br />
