There is adopted for the City of Pleasanton, an administrative code for the technical <br /> codes including the 2009 editions of the International Building Code, the <br /> International Residential Code, International Property Maintenance Code, the 2009 <br /> editions of the Uniform Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and Uniform <br /> Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code, the 2008 edition of the National Electrical <br /> Code, the 2010 California Green Building Standards Code and the 1997 edition of <br /> the Uniform Housing Code as herein described. The administrative code shall be <br /> known as the Pleasanton Building Administrative Code and the same is adopted and <br /> incorporated as set out in this chapter. <br /> B. Where there is a reference in Administrative Code to the "Building Official ", Code <br /> Official ", or "Authority Having Jurisdiction" it shall mean the Chief Building and Safety <br /> Official or in the absence of the Chief, the interim, temporary or acting Chief Building <br /> and Safety Official. <br /> 20.04.015 Pleasanton Building Administrative Code amendments: <br /> Chapter 1A <br /> TITLE, SCOPE AND GENERAL <br /> SECTION 101A — TITLE, PURPOSE AND SCOPE <br /> 101A.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Pleasanton Building <br /> Administrative Code, hereinafter referred to as "this code." <br /> 101A.2 Purpose. The purpose of this code is to provide for the administration and <br /> enforcement of the Building, Residential, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Energy, <br /> Historical, Fire, Existing Building, Green Building, Swimming Pool, Housing and <br /> Property Maintenance Codes which may also be referred to as the "technical codes" as <br /> adopted by the City of Pleasanton. <br /> 1 <br />
