<br />Commissioner Sullivan noted that the LEEDTM program had many specific and helpful <br />measures to reduce off-site light pollution, and believed that should be addressed further. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson noted that if the Commissioners wished to impart any more specific <br />information, that would help the architect redesign the facility. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin believed that one or two stories would be the most acceptable <br />design to the neighborhood, and noted that the applicant would have to gain the <br />neighborhood's acceptance ofthe design and scale. The Commission agreed. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Sullivan, Mr. Iserson noted that the applicant <br />would have to re-evaluate the design before it was brought to the Housing Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan noted that more neighborhood sessions would have to be held, <br />and he would like to have more discussion on affordability, rates, and firm commitments <br />by the applicant. He believed the Housing Commission could add more to that <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts believed that more emphasis should be placed on affordable <br />housing for these facilities. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin agreed that more detail was necessary in order to move forward on <br />this project. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin left the meeting at 12:16 a.m. <br /> <br />c. Citv of Pleasanton <br />Work session to review and comment on the preliminary design plans for a new fire <br />station facility with apparatus bays and living quarters for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire <br />Department located on a 3.26 acre site defined by Bernal Avenue, Oak Vista Way, Mill <br />Creek Place, and Whispering Oaks Way. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) District. <br /> <br />This item was continued. <br /> <br />d. Citv of Pleasanton <br />Planning Commission input regarding potential road alignments to be included in the <br />Happy Valley Bypass Road Alternative Alignment Feasibility Study. <br /> <br />This item was continued. <br /> <br />7.
