.- THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED.

Bahman Tehrani, 500 Main Street, stated that he does not feel it is necessary to modify the last
window because it will still not match the others. Commissioner Arkin noted that the approval
was for all ofthe windows. Mr. Iserson advised that staff has been discussing this issue with the
applicant.

Chairperson Maas stated that it appears there is a strong interest on behalf of the Commission to
make sure that the applicant adheres to what the Commission approved. Chairperson Maas
advised the applicant to continue to work with staff, and that the Commission expected that all
windows match the approved building elevations.

Mr. Tehrani provided clarification regarding the proposed awnings.

Charles Huff, 30 W. Neal, advised that he is available to answer any questions regarding the
building colors. In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Sullivan, Mr. Huff advised that
the color of the cornice is what currently exists and they are not proposing any change.

Mr. Huff noted that at a previous hearing there was a comment by Joyce Shapiro about Mr. Huff
being asked questions regarding historic aspects related to the integrity of the building while he
was also representing the owner. Mr. Huff clarified that he and Mr. Iserson had talked about the
historic elements of the building two or three weeks prior to his becoming involved in the
r project. He noted that his feelings on the project were very clear and evident prior to his
becoming involved in the project.

THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED.

Commissioner Roberts moved approval of the proposed building colors for Case PDR-244.
Commissioner Maas second the motion.

ROLL CALL VOTE

AYES:
NOES:
ABSTAIN:
ABSENT:

Commissioners Arkin, Kameny, Maas, Roberts, and Sullivan
None
None
None

Resolution No. PC-2002-74 was entered and adopted as motioned.

b.
