<br />Mr. Iserson noted that staff believed that the transition would allow Commissioner Arkin to <br />serve as Vice Chair, which would allow him a customary training period before assuming the <br />Chair. <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that two meetings would probably be cancelled during the holiday <br />season. <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas noted that she would not have a problem in continuing until January, 2003. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin noted that it would be an honor for Chairperson Maas to continue until <br />January. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin moved to approve the amendment of its previous action regarding the <br />start of the term of office, which will begin January 1, 2003. Commissioner Arkin will serve <br />as Vice Chair and Chair Maas will continue as Chair in the interim.
