COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas advised that the Planning Conference in Long Beach would be held in <br />October, and that the information was in the Commissioners' packets. <br /> <br />10. REFERRALS <br /> <br />,....... <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that it was mentioned during Item 6.d. that RMC Lonestar <br />would discontinue work in a year, and she inquired whether the new asphalt batch plant <br />would go away as well. She noted that it was noisy, unattractive, and smelled bad, and <br />added that it was across from where the school would be built, as well as the Hahner <br />property. <br /> <br />Steve Brozosky indicated that the County was currently examining that issue. <br /> <br />11.
