<br />"DRAFT" Tri-Valley Planning Commissioners' Roundtable <br />Meeting of April] 0, 2002 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Work is beginning on the Zoning Ordinance Amendment to include high-density housing <br />and mixed use along San Ramon Valley Boulevard in the Crow Canyon Redevelopment <br />Area which is a result of the adoption of the General Plan 2020. <br />Amendment to the Westside Specific Plan which is the area along Bollinger Canyon <br />Road, west of Crow Canyon Road. <br />Telecommunications Ordinance - first presentation has been made to the Planning <br />Commission. <br />City Center project. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Trish Maas and Harvev Kamenv. Chairperson. Citv of Pleasant on <br />. Construction has begun on the Bemal Property (San Francisco Water District Property) <br />to include: <br />. 100 apartments with 31 affordable units <br />. 121 single-family homes, 4,000-5,000 sq. ft. with 20 affordable units, Neo- <br />Traditional theme; garages in the rear with alley ways <br />. The use for the rest of the property will be put before the voters in November. Strong <br />support for more open space, possible an ACE train station. <br />. 8, 4-story buildings utilizing green building measures and will include a public art <br />feature <br />. Charles Schwab office project on Stoneridge Mall Road has just been completed, <br />605,000 sq. ft. One (1) building is currently leased and occupied. <br />. Old Kaiser Center on Sunol Boulevard has been purchased by a bio-medical firm. <br />Approval for 960,000 sq. ft. bio-medical/office space to include a public art feature. <br />. Power Plant Siting Ordinance is being drafted after an application from CalPine had been <br />denied for the area of Valley A venue and Stanley Boulevard. <br />. Green Building Measures Ordinance to include both residential and commercial projects. <br />. Demolition Ordinance to establish guidelines that 50% of all demolition materials must <br />be recycled. <br />. Consideration of Home Occupation Permit code revisions. <br />. Wood Burning Ordinance. <br /> <br />Don Johnson. Citv of Dublin <br />. Downtown area has been designated for the City of Dublin as follows: north of Dublin <br />Boulevard, west of San Ramon Road, east of Village Parkway and south of Amador <br />Valley Boulevard. <br />. Home Depot Expo has opened on Amador Valley Road and includes a public art feature. <br />. Safeway store has opened on Dublin Boulevard and includes a public art feature. <br />. West BART Station to include a high-rise parking structure, 4-star hotel. <br />. Waterford project on Dougherty Road is a mixed use featuring a Safeway, Peets Coffee <br />and a 390-unit apartment complex (47 units/acre). <br />. Transit Center to include 2M sq. ft. office, 1,500 residential units with an affordable <br />housing component, 7,000 sq. ft. retail, and 2,000 parking spaces. <br /> <br />Page 2 of6 <br />
