Appellant <br />Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's approval ofPMS-09, the tentative parcel map for <br />Frank and Barbara Beriogar that would allow the division oftheir existing, 45.03-acre <br />property into two lots - Parcel One, 7.57-acres in area and Parcel Two, 37.46-acres in <br />area - in conformance to an approved PUD Development Plan on property located at <br />2200 Vineyard Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />LDR, HR, and OS (Low Density Residential, Hillside Residential, and Open Space). <br /> <br />This item was continued to the February 13, 2002 meeting. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin asked for clarification regarding the item related to the "Home Occupation <br />Code Revisions" shown on the "Future Planning Calendar." Ms. Kline advised that this revision <br />is being done to more accurately reflect the kinds of home businesses that people are conducting <br />in their homes and to allow some of the more traditional kinds of businesses, such as piano <br />lessons, that adhere to specific performance standards. <br /> <br />,-.-. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Arkin as to whether there are any provisions <br />related to the number of people that may reside in a residence, Ms. Seto advised that the <br />limitations address the renting of the rooms and some CC&R's may address this matter. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin stated that he would like the opportunity for the Planning Commission to <br />hold a work session and provide feedback on any type of project such as a proposal for a <br />shopping center at the corner of Stanley and Bernal. He stated that he does not want to receive a <br />final project without opportunity for input. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin stated that the Schmidts advised that there has been some well drilling on <br />the Lin property. Commissioner Roberts provided information regarding the prior proposal for <br />this site. <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts advised that Lois Lutz has contacted her and advised that the Planning <br />Commission will be invited to attend a workshop that is being co-sponsored by the South <br />Livermore Valley Agricultural Land Trust on "Building East Bay Capacity for Agricultural and <br />Open Space Conservation" at the Pleasanton Hotel on March I. <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts reported that a jet airplane with an approximately 50-person capacity has <br />been landing at the Livermore Airport and the flight pattern has been over her home. She asked <br />that if anyone else has complaints that they contact the Livermore Airport. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan advised that the Energy Advisory Group has developed a mission <br />statement and has begun to discuss energy strategy.
