Appellant Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's approval ofPMS-09, the tentative parcel map for Frank and Barbara Beriogar that would allow the division oftheir existing, 45.03-acre property into two lots - Parcel One, 7.57-acres in area and Parcel Two, 37.46-acres in area - in conformance to an approved PUD Development Plan on property located at 2200 Vineyard Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- LDR, HR, and OS (Low Density Residential, Hillside Residential, and Open Space). This item was continued to the February 13, 2002 meeting. 7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS Commissioner Arkin asked for clarification regarding the item related to the "Home Occupation Code Revisions" shown on the "Future Planning Calendar." Ms. Kline advised that this revision is being done to more accurately reflect the kinds of home businesses that people are conducting in their homes and to allow some of the more traditional kinds of businesses, such as piano lessons, that adhere to specific performance standards. ,-.-. In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Arkin as to whether there are any provisions related to the number of people that may reside in a residence, Ms. Seto advised that the limitations address the renting of the rooms and some CC&R's may address this matter. Commissioner Arkin stated that he would like the opportunity for the Planning Commission to hold a work session and provide feedback on any type of project such as a proposal for a shopping center at the corner of Stanley and Bernal. He stated that he does not want to receive a final project without opportunity for input. Commissioner Arkin stated that the Schmidts advised that there has been some well drilling on the Lin property. Commissioner Roberts provided information regarding the prior proposal for this site. Commissioner Roberts advised that Lois Lutz has contacted her and advised that the Planning Commission will be invited to attend a workshop that is being co-sponsored by the South Livermore Valley Agricultural Land Trust on "Building East Bay Capacity for Agricultural and Open Space Conservation" at the Pleasanton Hotel on March I. Commissioner Roberts reported that a jet airplane with an approximately 50-person capacity has been landing at the Livermore Airport and the flight pattern has been over her home. She asked that if anyone else has complaints that they contact the Livermore Airport. Commissioner Sullivan advised that the Energy Advisory Group has developed a mission statement and has begun to discuss energy strategy.
