<br />Commissioner Arkin requested that an item be placed on a future Planning Commission agenda <br />r to consider a formal recommendation to the City Council that the City find a way of building the <br />new realigned Vineyard Avenue. The Planning Commission agreed to this request. <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts advised that staff followed up on her concern regarding the site on Cedar <br />Lane and that this matter is being pursued. <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts reported that WalMart almost loss its use permit for gun sales because of <br />non-compliance. Mr. Swift clarified that the police department permit was suspended and if <br />there is a future suspension, the use permit will be brought back for the Planning Commission's <br />consideration. <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas reminded the Commission to communicate with staff if they have any <br />questions regarding applications prior to meetings. She noted that staff is accessible bye-mail. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Harvey, Ms. Kline provided an update on the <br />status of the development of the Green Building Ordinance. She advised that Tricia Maier is <br />working with Wendy Sommers of the Alameda County Waste Management Authority in an <br />effort to prepare a draft ordinance. Ms. Kline reported that the City of Pleasanton will be the <br />model city for developing the ordinance and that staff is hoping to have something before the <br />Commission in January. <br /> <br />Commissioner Harvey advised that he has been in contact with Heidi Kline and Randy Lum <br />r regarding the possibility of pursuing a partnership agreement to install photovoltaic panels on the <br />proposed self-storage facility. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Sullivan, Mr. Swift provided information <br />regarding the parcel located on the southwest corner of Foothill Road and Dublin Canyon Road. <br /> <br />8.
