TO <br /> MANAGE TENNIS OPERATIONS AT THE TENNIS AND COMMUNITY <br /> PARK <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Since 2005 the City has utilized contract services to operate and maintain the tennis <br /> facilities at the Tennis and Community Park. In anticipation of the agreement's <br /> expiration, staff conducted a public bid process to identify a new operator. Based on this <br /> process, staff is recommending the awarding of a five year agreement to Lifetime Tennis, <br /> Inc., that will run through December 2015. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the Agreement with Lifetime Tennis, Inc. to manage tennis operations at the <br /> Tennis and Community Park. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> During the first year of the Agreement, Lifetime Tennis will pay the City 10% of all gross <br /> revenues up to $400,000, and 5% of all gross revenues over $400,000. The fee that <br /> the City receives will increase throughout the term of the Agreement as the baseline for <br /> gross revenues is increased by $25,000 annually. <br />
