<br />/""- <br /> <br />Commissioner Harvey noted that the trails system was also a high priority of the Economic <br />Vitality Committee and it seems inconsistent that it was not funded. Mr. Bocian advised that the <br />trails program is partially funded and that approximately $532,000 has been set aside towards <br />trail programs. He further advised that staff has attempted to set up a regular flow of revenue to <br />go into the Capital Improvement Program for trail projects. Mr. Bocian reported that the City <br />Council has directed staffto bring back the City's trail master plan for review. <br /> <br />Chairperson Sullivan commented that there appears to be very little project development funding <br />for the Foothill Road reconstruction from Highland Oaks Drive to Muirwood Drive North. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />No one spoke on this item. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts moved to find that the proposed Capital Improvement Program for <br />Fiscal Years 2001-2002 through 2005-2006 consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan. <br />Commissioner Arkin seconded the motion. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />r, <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Arkin, Harvey, Roberts, and Sullivan <br />None <br />Commissioners Kameny and Maas <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-2001-32 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br /> <br />e. PUD-80-16-19D & 11M, Providian Bancorp <br />Application for development plan approval and a major modification to PUD-80-16 to <br />allow the construction of a three-story, 90,000-square- foot building on the Providian <br />Bancorp campus located at 4940 Johnson Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O (Industrial/Commercial-Office) District. The <br />Planning Commission will also consider the negative declaration prepared for the project. <br /> <br />Continued to June 27, 2001. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin inquired about the Housing Element Update process and what is going to <br />change. Ms. Seto reported that the City is required to update its Housing Element on a regular <br />basis. Commissioner Roberts advised that there is no mandated mission given to the committee. <br />Commissioner Arkin stated that a goal of the City Council was to form a balanced committee, <br />and he feels the composition ofthe committee is not balanced.
