<br />r- <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />PDR-118, McDonald's Corp, <br />Application for PUD design review approval to construct a new, approximately 5,134- <br />square-foot, fast-food restaurant with drive through and indoor playplace, and for a 5,220- <br />square-foot commercial building pad on 1.75 acres ofland located at 3001 Bernal Avenue <br />in Stanley Business Park. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />C (Commercial) District. The Planning Commission will also consider the negative <br />declaration prepared for the project. <br /> <br />Continued to May 23, 2001. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Maas, Ms. Seto explained that the item which is on <br />the Alameda County Planning Commission agenda for the Sprint antenna located off of Santa <br />Rita Road, is being continued while the jurisdictional issues are resolved. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Kameny, Mr. Grubstick advised that staff is <br />looking at restriping the area of Del Valle Parkway and Main Street. Commissioner Kameny , <br />requested additional information regarding the Traffic Committee's decision. <br /> <br />/""- <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Harvey, staff provided information regarding the <br />application of conditions of approval when building uses change. Discussion ensued regarding <br />the industrial land use area of the Stanley Business Park which is also considered a gateway to <br />the City, and how the appearance for this area should be determined. Commissioner Maas stated <br />that she would like staff to have a feeling of what the Planning Commission wants so that this <br />can be conveyed when staff meets with applicants regarding development of the existing vacant <br />parcels. It was suggested that a workshop be held regarding this matter. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin noted that he would like to begin reviewing undeveloped PUD's to <br />determine if the approvals can be rescinded. <br /> <br />8.
