CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1185 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II REGARDING LOT MERGERS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 2-3.01 of Article 5, Chapter 1, Title II of <br /> the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />2-3.01 Minor Subdivisions. A "Minor Subdivision" is a <br />subdivision for which a parcel map may or shall be prepared in <br />accordance with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act <br />(Sections 66410 et seq. of the Government Code). Parcel maps <br />shall be required for all subdivisions not requiring the filing <br />of a final map and not otherwise exempted by the provisions of <br />the Subdivision Map Act. A tentative parcel map shall be <br />required for all subdivisions requiring a parcel map. <br /> <br />Section 2: Article 5.5 is hereby added to Chapter 1 of Title II <br /> of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> Article 5.5 <br /> <br /> Lot Line Adjustments; Owner-Requested Mergers <br /> and Reversions to Acreage by Parcel Map <br /> <br />2-3.10 Lot Line Adjustments. Lot line adjustments between two <br /> or more existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken <br /> from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel and where <br /> a greater number of parcels than originally existed is <br /> not thereby created, shall require approval in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this section. <br /> <br /> a. Application: Application for permission to adjust <br /> lot lines shall be made by the owner(s) of the <br /> affected lots. An application form, prescribed by <br /> the Zoning Administrator, containing such <br /> information and/or exhibits as may be required <br /> shall be filed with the Zoning Administrator. The <br /> application shall be accompanied by such fee as may <br /> be established by the City Council. <br /> <br /> b. Decision by Zoning Administrator. The Zoning <br /> Administrator, or his designee, shall be charged <br /> with the duty of making such investigations and <br /> reports as may be required, imposing requirements <br /> <br /> <br />
