CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1185 ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II REGARDING LOT MERGERS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 2-3.01 of Article 5, Chapter 1, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended to read as follows: 2-3.01 Minor Subdivisions. A "Minor Subdivision" is a subdivision for which a parcel map may or shall be prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act (Sections 66410 et seq. of the Government Code). Parcel maps shall be required for all subdivisions not requiring the filing of a final map and not otherwise exempted by the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act. A tentative parcel map shall be required for all subdivisions requiring a parcel map. Section 2: Article 5.5 is hereby added to Chapter 1 of Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to read as follows: Article 5.5 Lot Line Adjustments; Owner-Requested Mergers and Reversions to Acreage by Parcel Map 2-3.10 Lot Line Adjustments. Lot line adjustments between two or more existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel and where a greater number of parcels than originally existed is not thereby created, shall require approval in accordance with the provisions of this section. a. Application: Application for permission to adjust lot lines shall be made by the owner(s) of the affected lots. An application form, prescribed by the Zoning Administrator, containing such information and/or exhibits as may be required shall be filed with the Zoning Administrator. The application shall be accompanied by such fee as may be established by the City Council. b. Decision by Zoning Administrator. The Zoning Administrator, or his designee, shall be charged with the duty of making such investigations and reports as may be required, imposing requirements
