<br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS (continued) <br /> <br />r- <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Tentative Tract Map 7240, Mardel L.L.C. (Deleo Builders) <br />Application for a vesting tentative subdivision map to allow the subdivision of a 41.1- <br />acre site into 38 building lots including one vineyard/estate lot, four non-buildable <br />parcels, and miscellaneous public infrastructure improvements including public streets, <br />landscaping, utilities, etc. The subject properties are located at 2503 Vineyard Avenue <br />and 2287 Vineyard A venue in the Vineyard A venue Corridor Specific Plan Area, and are <br />zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Vineyard/OS/LDR/MDR (Vineyard/Open <br />Space/Low Density ResidentiallMedium Density Residential) District. <br /> <br />Continued to the April 25, 2001 meeting. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Kameny noted that he had previously commented on the striping on Main Street <br />near Del Valle Parkway. He reported that there has been an accident at this location. Mr. Swift <br />advised that he will bring this item to the attention of the Traffic Committee. <br /> <br />Mr. Kameny questioned the signage allowed for the OIde Towne Antiques, noting that another <br />freestanding sign has been placed on the site. Mr. Swift advised that the applicant has submitted <br />a proposal for signage. Commissioner Kameny asked that the signage requirements for this site <br />be enforced. <br /> <br />r- Commissioner Arkin advised that he would like to begin reviewing undeveloped PUD's to <br />determine ifthe approvals can be rescinded. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin suggested that a tour of the City be arranged for the Planning Commission <br />with Brian Swift. He noted that this could be noticed as a public meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin advised that he would like to see ifthere is any community interest for a <br />cemetery on the Staples Ranch site. He suggested that a notice for a future Planning <br />Commission meeting be distributed to see if there is public support for rezoning this property. <br />Commissioner Maas commented on the expense that would be incurred for distributing such a <br />notice. Mr. Swift suggested that Commissioner Arkin may want to place this item on the agenda <br />for the joint meeting with the City Council. Commissioner Roberts advised that the Task Force <br />for the Bernal property is reviewing this use for that site. <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts thanked the City for sending her to the Planners' Institute, noting that she <br />received some very good information. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan reported that the Seattle Regional Office of the Department of Energy <br />volunteered to help the City develop its energy plan/strategy.
