<br />( <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas stated that if this item is going to be continued, she would like to see <br />streetscape visuals of the homes, including a panoramic view. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin stated that he feels since the Chrismans will be benefiting from the project, <br />they should be willing to give up the well. He noted that the impacts of this project will affect <br />the Brozoskys. Commissioner Maas stated that she has no comment regarding the well issue, <br />and she would support whatever is legal. Chairperson Sullivan stated that the Chrismans will <br />have the availability of City water, while the Brozoskys will not, and he feels the shared-well <br />arrangement should cease. Commissioner Maas posed the question as to whether the Brozoskys <br />should have to purchase the Chrismans' rights to the well. <br /> <br />Chairperson Sullivan stated that he would support Commissioner Arkin's request ifit included <br />the request for a preliminary or conceptual financial analysis of a fewer unit, larger lot plan that <br />mitigates the visual and grading impacts, including appropriate other locations on the properties. <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas stated that she wants to see open fencing, the design and plan for the <br />caretaker's house, and the landscaping plan. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin stated that he wants the school condition strengthened. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS REOPENED <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Mr. Chrisman, 1944 Vineyard Avenue, advised that he owns an undivided Y, interest in the well <br />and he clarified that he cannot use the well water for landscaping on any part of the future <br />development. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Arkin, Mr. Swift provided clarification as to ways <br />the required firebreaks can be accomplished. <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas and Chairperson Sullivan agreed to visit the site with Mr. Swift. <br /> <br />Mr. Leighton advised that the applicant will prepare the materials requested by the Commission <br />which pertain to staffs recommended plan, however, he advised that the applicant cannot <br />participate in the requested analysis of a smaller project.
