03 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTONo <br /> November 16, 2010 <br /> Community Development <br /> Traffic Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTROLLED ACCESS <br /> HIGHWAY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND <br /> THE CITY RELATING TO THE INTERSECTION OF VINEYARD AVENUE <br /> AND STATE ROUTE 84 (ISABEL AVENUE) <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The State of California, through the Department of Transportation, has designated <br /> Isabel Avenue as State Route 84. The California Transportation Commission has <br /> designated this roadway as a "controlled access highway" and, as such, has requested <br /> that the City enter into a Controlled Access Highway Agreement <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Adopt the attached resolution. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached Controlled Access Highway <br /> Agreement. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact to the City as a result of this action. Any work determined to <br /> be necessary as a result of declaring Isabel Avenue a controlled access highway will be <br /> the responsibility of Caltrans. <br />
