Pleasanton Gateway— Environmental Checklist <br /> Avenue to the east, City property to the south, and the northbound I- 680 /Bernal Avenue <br /> exit ramp to the west (Assessor Parcel No. 947- 0008 - 017 -00 ). The City property includes <br /> the stormwater treatment/detention ponds serving the entire Bernal Property Specific Plan <br /> area including the private developments and the City lands and facilities. <br /> Surrounding Land Uses and Setting <br /> Site History <br /> In August 2000, the City Council approved the Bernal Property Specific Plan PUD <br /> Development Plan, Final Environmental Impact Report and Development Agreement. <br /> The residential developments, fire station, service station /convenience market complex, <br /> and some open space areas of the Bernal Property Specific Plan are complete. The City <br /> has also completed construction of the area wide infrastructure serving the Specific Plan <br /> area including improvements to City streets and intersections and to the Bernal Avenue /I- <br /> 680 freeway interchange, and construction of the first phase of public amenities /sports <br /> fields on the Bernal Community Park. <br /> Surrounding Land Uses and Setting <br /> The Pleasanton Gateway property is a relatively flat, vacant site with its primary frontage <br /> and orientation towards Bernal Avenue and Valley Avenue.
