The <br /> entitlement represented by the PUD development plan approval is covered by a <br /> Development Agreement that, with approval of a pending seven -year extension, will expire <br /> in 2017. <br /> Project Description <br /> Overall Project <br /> The overall Pleasanton Gateway development will include the following: <br /> • Reduce the number of office buildings from eight buildings to seven buildings <br /> thereby reducing the office floor area from 745,000 square feet to 588,782 square <br /> feet. The office buildings will be constructed on a 26.72 -acre portion of the site, will <br /> be 66 feet in height, and will follow the design style of the previous approval with <br /> minor modifications to incorporate green building measures and updated building <br /> code requirements. The buildings will also be designed for the future installation of <br /> photovoltaic panels on the roof areas. <br /> • Add a supermarket/grocery store, two buildings with integral drive - through lanes <br /> that can be used by a bank or restaurant, one drive- through pharmacy, and eight <br /> buildings that will accommodate a variety of retail and food service businesses and <br /> personal services. The total floor area will be 129,730 square feet, 58,000 square <br /> feet for the supermarket, 14,008 square feet for the pharmacy, and 57,722 square <br /> feet for the remaining buildings. All loading /service areas will be screened from <br /> view by a combination of landscaping and screen walls.
