CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-016 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />TRI-VALLEY <br />RATE <br /> <br />ADOPTING A REVISION TO THE <br />TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT FEE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all Tfi-Valley jurisdictions have resolved to cooperatively participate and adopt <br /> uniform Tri-Valley Transportation Development (TVTD) Fee Rates; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current Tri-Valley Strategic Expenditure Plan (SEP) is projected to have a <br /> $10.2 million funding deficit by fiscal year 2009-10; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this funding shortfall takes place just as the Route 84 project is scheduled to <br />receive the majority of its TVTD funding and approving the interim TVTD fee <br />schedule will keep this funding for Route 84 whole; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />to meet the TVTD funding shortfall, it is recommended that Council approve the <br />interim fee schedule and Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement addendum as <br />described in the staffreport (SR 03:070); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves Addendum I to the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JEPA) for <br />TVTD Fees, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The following schedule of TVTD fees is hereby adopted: <br /> <br />Land Use Category <br />Single-Family Residential <br />Multi-Family Residential <br />Office <br />Retail <br />Industrial <br />Other <br /> <br />TVTD Fee Rate <br />$1,711hmit <br />$1,087/unit <br />$3.07/sf <br />$1.14/sf <br />$2.08/sf <br />$685/peak trip <br /> <br /> <br />
