THE CITY OF 15 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTONo <br /> October 5, 2010 <br /> Operations Services Department <br /> TITLE: UPDATE REGARDING THE CITY'S CLIMATE ACTION PLAN <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City's Climate Action Plan is underway with a new website for public information <br /> and comment along with the first public workshop scheduled for October. Additionally, <br /> we will be participating in a green fair in partnership with the Hacienda Business Park <br /> that will be open to the entire community, designed to kickoff the Climate Action Plan <br /> effort and create an interest in the project. This agenda report is to update the Council <br /> on those efforts and to make the community aware of the upcoming schedule. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> No recommendation; this report is for information only. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The Climate Action Plan activities have already been budgeted and approved. <br />
