He advised that <br />staff is recommending approval of the modification. <br /> <br />/"". <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />COMMENTS FROM THE APPLICANT <br /> <br />Trece Herder represented Centex Homes. She presented an exhibit showing the original <br />proposal and the proposal for the relocation of the two lots. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the placement of the lots and the design of the lots. Commissioner <br />Arkin expressed concern that the garage for Lot 30 would be facing the side of Lot 29. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the lot configurations. The applicant agreed to look at this matter. <br /> <br />Ms. Herder advised that the applicant is in agreement with staffs comments on the Specific Plan <br />amendment. <br /> <br />Mr. Steve Brozosky, 1700 Vineyard Avenue, noted that he provided comments regarding the <br />transfer of lots at the last hearing. He stated that he wants to make sure the Planning <br />Commission does not feel obligated to tie the two Centex PUDs together. He stated that he does <br />not want PUD-6 held up because of the hillside PUD. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin stated that he understands the issue of equity that has been brought up <br />regarding the transferring of two lots to another property. <br /> <br />Chairperson Sullivan stated that he feels there are too many lots on the Chrisman property, and if <br />there is a way to make the Specific Plan and Financing Plan work by shifting two lots he is o.k. <br />with it, but he does not like loosing more vineyard property. He noted that even if these two lots <br />are relocated it does not mean that he will be satisfied with the Chrisman PUD. <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas moved that the findings that the Specific Plan modification is exempt <br />from CEQA as a minor alteration to land use limitations and that the Specific Plan <br />modification is consistent with the General Plan be made, and recommended approval of <br />the Specific Plan amendment.
