She also noted that the construction hours prohibit work on Saturdays. Vice Chairperson Maas stated that she agrees with the comments of her fellow commissioners. She requested that she would like the landscaping planted as soon as possible to allow it to begin growing. She stated that she recognizes grading and irrigation must be done first, but she would like the landscaping installation to be a priority. She asked if there might be a compromise with the neighbors to increase the setback from Sunol. Commissioner Arkin stated that he feels this type of architecture looks good close to the street. Commissioner Kameny stated that he would like to see the applicant work with staff to eliminate the retaining wall. Commissioner Roberts made a motion recommending that the proposed PUD development plan is consistent with the General Plan, the North Sycamore Specific Plan, and purposes of the PUD ordinance; and recommending approval of Case PUD-04 to the City Council subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," with the following modifications: . Condition #29 shall be amended to include P.G.&E. approval; . A new condition shall be added stating that the applicant will prepare a plan to be submitted for City Council review for the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof; r' . Condition #40 shall be amended to add the wording "by the developer." . A new condition shall be added requiring a designated smoking area, perhaps with benches, and preferably away from the neighbors. . Conditions #l1.a. and #l1.b. shall be deleted. . Condition #22 shall be deleted. . A new condition shall be added requiring the applicant to become involved with the developers of the Kaiser property to participate in a TSM program. Commissioner Arkin seconded the motion.
