CALL TO ORDER <br />Vice Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br />Sullivan led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided the introductory remarks. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Vice Mayor Thorne <br />Absent: Mayor Hosterman <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br />City Attorney Lowell advised that the Council met in Closed Session regarding Urban Habitat et <br />al. v. City of Pleasanton; Safe Streets Pleasanton et al. v. City of Pleasanton; one anticipated <br />litigation case, and reported that no reportable action was taken in the closed session. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Administrative Services <br />1. Approved regular and special meeting minutes of July 20, 2010 <br />2. Approved the City Manager's Amendment of an existing contract with Innovative Claims <br />Solutions, Inc. which provides third -party administration of the Workers' Compensation <br />Program <br />Community Development <br />City Council Minutes <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />August 17, 2010 <br />3. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator <br />4. Accepted public improvements performed by Cal -Bay Construction, Inc., for the Permit <br />Center Remodel project, CIP No. 098037; authorized filing a notice of completion and the <br />payment of retention in the amount of $14,928.85 <br />5. Accepted public improvements performed by McGuire and Hester for the Marilyn Murphy <br />Kane Trail project, CIP No. 087032; authorized filing a notice of completion, release of <br />retention in the amount of $46,980.28 and the transfer of $152,000 to the Bernal Property <br />Trail Reserve CIP 047021 <br />6. Accepted public improvements performed by Gordon N.
