SAMPLE ** <br /> <br /> NOTICE TO DESTROY WEEDS <br />AND REMOVE RUBBISH, REFUSE AND DIRT <br /> <br /> Notice is hereby given that on the 18th day of March. 2003. the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton passed a resolution declaring that noxious or dangerous weeds were growing upon or <br />in front of property on this street, and/or that rubbish, refuse and dirt were upon or in front of <br />property on this street, and that more particularly described in Resolution No. 03- . and that the <br />weeds, rubbish~ refuse and dirt constitute a public nuisance, which by Ma)' 31. 2003 must be <br />abated by the removal of the weeds, rubbish, refuse, and dirt according to the enclosed weed <br />abatement standards. If not otherwise abated by May 31~ 2003. the weeds, rubbish, refuse and dirt <br />shall be removed and the nuisance abated by the City or a contractor. The cost of removal and <br />disposal and an administrative assessment of 100% of the abatement costs shall be assessed upon <br />the land from or in front of which the weeds, rubbish, refuse and dirt are removed, and shall <br />constitute a lien upon such land until paid. Reference is hereby made to Resolution No. 03- <br />for further particulars. A copy of Resolution No. 03- is on file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> All property owners having any objections to the proposed removal of the weeds, rubbish, <br />refuse and dirt are hereby notified to attend a meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton to be held at 200 Old Bernal.
