Fire Inspectors recently identified your property at the <br />address above as requiring weed abatement, but if you have completed the required <br />abatement, please disregard this Notice and accept our appreciation for your efforts. <br /> <br /> The attached legal notice, outlining specifics of the weed abatement standards, <br />contains language required by law. The LPFD appreciates the cooperation of all property <br />owners to abate overgrown weeds. The work we ask you to do on your property is <br />intended to protect you and your neighbors. We realize there are costs associated with <br />weed abatement, but the benefit to you and your neighbors far outweighs any expenditure <br />which you may incur. The enclosed weed abatement standards have been developed to <br />assist you in abating fire hazards on your proper~y. <br /> <br /> The LPFD will be happy to answer questions you may have concerning the weed <br />abatement program.
