easements. The Jeffreys, and any successors in interest, shall not be <br />permitted to build or install any new improvements within these two <br />easement areas, including but not limited to gazebos, trellises, sheds, <br />sports courts, decks, play structures, etc. <br />7. In the event of any drainage problems related to the work done under the <br />permits, the applicant shall be responsible for resolving such problems <br />and for repairing any slope instability, consistent with the requirements <br />provided by the Building and Safety Division. <br />8. There shall be no lighting placed on or around the pool that would be <br />directed toward surrounding houses. Any aboveground lights shall be <br />designed in a manner to emit low lighting with downward placement so as <br />not to affect the evening sky or adjacent properties. <br />9. The Jeffreys, and any successors in interest, shall not modify the grade of <br />the lot without prior approval from the City Council, consistent with Council <br />direction in 1989. <br />10. In order to put potential successors in interest on notice of these <br />conditions, the City shall record a copy of these Conditions of Approval <br />and Exhibits 1 and 2 with the County Recorder's Office. <br />
