Commissioner Dibiase had questions regarding language contained in the Agreement on pages <br /> 3 and 6. Ms. Yurchak advised that the City Attorney had made comments requiring the <br /> changes. Commissioner Dibiase felt that all groups involved were comfortable with the <br /> recommended changes; therefore, he had no objections. Members of the VOP advised that <br /> they were okay with the 5 -year timeline and the fact that changes could be made in the interim <br /> by contacting the City. <br /> Commissioner Ritter made a reference to the use of alcohol at this facility. He also questioned <br /> whether availability of the facility could be posted on the City's website. Ms. Yurchak advised <br /> that staff was looking at providing more information on the website. <br /> Commissioner Streng confirmed that banner displays were only allowed for VOP events. Ms. <br /> Yurchak advised that there is a City ordinance banning the display of banners on City facilities. <br /> Ms. Andrade -Wax noted that staff was looking at making some changes, but would still need to <br /> honor the Veterans building. <br /> The meeting was opened by Chairperson Kinzer for public comment. There were none. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Ritter, seconded by Commissioner Balch, recommending <br /> the City Council approve the Joint Use Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> Veterans Organizations of Pleasanton. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> AYES: Commissioners Balch, Dibiase, Kummer, Ritter, and Chairperson Kinzer. <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> 6.
