COMMUNICATIONS <br /> 5. Eden I R, Inc. 211 Alameda County Monthly Narrative Report: December 2009 <br /> and January 2010 <br /> The report was reviewed. There were no comments. <br /> 6. Housing Commission Minutes November 19, 2009 <br /> The minutes were reviewed. There were no comments. <br /> COMMISSION REPORTS <br /> Housing Scholarship Program Committee Chairperson Kennedy advised she had attended the <br /> January meeting of this Committee. Subsidy is available but there is a problem with the <br /> availability of a Case Manager. She has encouraged them to come to the Commission and <br /> provide information about the program. <br /> Livermore /Pleasanton Joint Ad Hoc Committee Ms. Yurchak advised that Committee members <br /> had reached a consensus on the website's "banner" information and it was hoped that this would <br /> soon be up and running for both cities. <br /> Paratransit Advisory Committee no meeting. <br /> Senior Advisory Committee Commissioner Wilson advised that a meeting would be held in <br /> April. <br /> Youth Master Plan Implementation Committee Commissioner Lambert advised that this <br /> Committee is continuing to plan the different phases and updating of the Master Plan. They had <br /> discussed School District issues with regard to the recent suicide and how the School District is <br /> handling this problem. Commissioner Lambert advised that the School District was hoping to <br /> make up some funds by making cuts in the length of the school day. <br /> Chairperson Kennedy provided details of a discussion she had with Sue Compton from Axis <br /> regarding providing counseling for schools. Commissioner Nagler felt there was a need for a <br /> joint effort between the City and the School District to provide counseling. Ms. Yurchak <br /> discussed details of the Youth Master Plan and recent funding the City had provided to the <br /> YMCA for providing such services. Commissioner Lambert felt there could be a better <br /> relationship between the YMCA and the YMPIC. <br /> COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> Commissioner Nagler suggested an agenda item for the next meeting on how to better evolve <br /> funds by having Commissioners make recommendations. Ms. Yurchak indicated a workshop <br /> with the agencies could be done at one of the Commission meetings.
