proposed clubhouse and four new ground -floor apartments will be constructed to be <br /> ADA accessible for persons with disabilities and the remaining 10 ground -floor <br /> apartments will be constructed to be ADA adaptable for persons with disabilities. <br /> Where feasible, the ground -floor apartments will be designed and constructed to include <br /> Universal Design principles. Photovoltaic tiles will be installed on the roof of the office <br /> and the existing solar pool heating equipment will be moved to a new building and will <br /> be updated with new equipment. The proposed project implements the Pleasanton <br /> General Plan, and will provide affordable multi family rental housing in close proximity to <br /> the downtown, public transit, and schools. Staff, therefore, believes that the proposed <br /> development merits a favorable recommendation from the Planning Commission. <br /> XIII. STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends the Planning Commission forward Case PUD- 84- 21 -04M to the City <br /> Council with a recommendation of approval by taking the following actions: <br /> 1. Find that the proposed PUD Development Plan modification conforms to the <br /> applicable goals and policies of the Pleasanton General Plan; and, <br /> 2.
