Phase 2: Installation and Configuration <br /> Hardware installation will encompass the initial configuration of hardware, the physical integration of <br /> hardware into customer's system, and the ongoing tuning of that hardware. Software installation will <br /> encompass CUSI's software installed on multiple client machines and server where required. <br /> Hardware Configuration and Installation <br /> CITY will purchase and maintain their own system hardware and will be responsible for the <br /> maintenance of said hardware and related software. <br /> CITY will configure any and all Hardware to their specific and local requirements. <br /> CUSI will install, configure and verify the operation of UMS.net on such Hardware. <br /> CITY will be responsible for the installation and verification of any subsequent updates or version <br /> releases with support of CUSI as required. <br /> CUSI and CITY to review and confirm Backup, Maintenance and Recovery Procedures. <br /> Application Software <br /> CUSI will install the most current release of the UMS.net application software and enhancements <br /> on the application server, and the designated client workstations where required. <br /> Phase 3: Data Conversion <br /> CITY Responsibilities <br /> CITY will assign resources to review the conversion specification, provide sample records for <br /> testing, and provide all agreed upon conversion records from the current CITY database. <br /> CITY will provide data files in format requested and will provide any necessary updates to <br /> ensure the generation of a clean data set. <br /> CITY will provide staff to validate conversion and correct data as necessary in existing legacy <br /> system prior to next conversion, under CUSI direction. <br /> CITY will provide accurate balancing reports to validate conversion (Receivables, deposits, <br /> number of accounts, etc.) <br /> CITY will be responsible for integrity validation of data provided from legacy system. <br /> CITY will verify the balance of each conversion with the direction of CUSI. <br /> CITY will accept final conversion into live environment based upon successful competition of <br /> testing when all appropriate requirements have been satisfactorily met. <br /> CUSI Responsibilities: <br /> CUSI will review together with CITY's technical lead, CITY's file layouts and data descriptions <br /> in the conversion mapping document. <br /> CUSI will convert beginning balances by service. Should additional history be required CUSI <br /> will provide an estimation of work and associated costs. <br /> CUSI will financially balance each conversion with reconciliation reports provided by CITY. <br /> Page 2 <br />
